In response to people complaining that the mrt trains have been too packed, especially during peak hours where it is almost or impossible to go into some overpacked trains, the SMRT CEO's response seems to be that it is up to us if we want to take the train or not.

Not a very nice statement from a higher mortal who doesnt seem to empathise with the common foks who have to struggle for a living and where mode of transport is possibly the mrt.
