Design Manager / Senior Design Engineer APPLY NOW
Reporting to : Sales Director ( Oil & Gas )



Primary Function:
The Design Manager / Engineer will be responsible for the management and updating of all relevant design drawings and technical documentation.



Responsibilities
To manage and update all relevant technical documentation and design drawings for :

Research and development project
Bid proposal
Project in progress
Production drawings
Final as built drawings
Operation and maintenance manual
Relevant international standards
Oil companies specification
Customer?s specification
Marine class society rules, MODU
Design calculations on application related issues
Literatures on oil and gas issues
To assist sales in technical clarification meetings with customers and consultant
Conceptual design of control systems and mechanical systems for engine packaging in accordance with customer's specification
Development of new products for oil and gas markets
To review and analyze suitability of new vendor products for integration into offshore packages
Liaising with factory on new application and installation issues
To assist sales in working with consultants and enduser to prepare technical specification for tender documents
Perform any other related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.

Minimum Requirements

Degree /Diploma in Mechanical, Marine or Offshore Engineering.
Minimum 2 years experience in a similar Manager/Senior capacity.
Minimum 2 years experience in the offshore oil and gas industries e.g Drilling, well servicing and gas compression market
Excellent communication skills & ability to develop good working relationships with customers, staff and work peers
Proficient in autocad drawing software, experience in 3 D modeling software and finite element analysis software will be an added advantage.
Willing to travel overseas.
Possess class 3 driving licence with own transport.
