Ad Description: Job Description & Duties
Assist the Project Manager with the execution of one or more simultaneous projects in accordance with a valid, executed contract, per company policies and procedures
Ensure that the right product/ system is developed and delivered to meet Company’s quality standard, and contract requirements
Lead Project Teams and facilitate the communication and interaction amongst the functional representatives
Assist in tracking the project against its schedule, budget and against phase review objectives
Develop and implement recovery plans for off-schedule and unanticipated eventualities
Prepare periodic management and/or customer reports and presentations
Coordination of engineering and field project teams under the direction of the Project Manager
Prepare and conduct Project Meetings
Review and verify project estimates monthly
Perform engineering calculations, review and approval of specification and drawings, commensurate with level of experience
Prepare requisitions for equipment and miscellaneous items as required
Provide feedback regarding employee performance on a project team to the functional manager for documentation
Recommend new processes where needed for quality improvement, cost reduction and on-time delivery

Job Requirements
Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Demonstrated, proven skills in the specific areas such as process and/or mechanical design and engineering
Effective computer skills; Microsoft Office Software, Lotus Notes, and other Company and discipline specific software applications
Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective organization skills including the ability to prioritize and plan work
Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task.
Knowledge and handling of data based project control systems (cost control and scheduling tools) are desirable, but not mandatory
Ability to meet schedules and deliver quality results in the committed time period
Ability to work independently, as well as a team
Resourceful
Good writing and communications skills
