Responsibilities:

Analyze user requirements and identify programming solutions using a range of tools such as flow diagrams, decision trees, etc.
Develop detailed specification for program requirements.
Design and implement programs, or modifying existing programs to meet users' requirements and to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of working processes.
Test programs and make any necessary modifications to ensure that they operate effectively.
Submit successfully tested patch files to the System Engineer, together with the documentation containing the installation guides and features added or bugs fixed by the patches.
Draw up all required support documentation for programs to ensure that users are able to operate them correctly.
Provide technical advice and guidance on programming matters to colleagues and system users.
Keep up to date with the latest development in software programming to ensure that the Company continues to take advantage of new ideas and developments.


Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Candidates with more than 3 years experience will be considered for more senior positions.
Required skill(s): Visual Basic, dot net, Web Design.
Knowledge in Power Builder is an advantage.
Experience in warehouse management or logistics system will be an added advantage.
Transport provided in major areas of Singapore.
