Responsibilities:


Explore and secure tendering opportunities
Review and prepare tender documents within tender closing dates after a thorough analysis of work scope, Drawings and Specifications, contract terms and conditions
Comply with company's policies and procedures for bidding process including.
Liaise with clients and internal departments to ensure that contract terms and conditions are fully complied with.
Co-ordinate with project, workshop and QA/QC departments and ensure that projects are executed as per commercial and technical terms of the contract and targeted profits are achieved.
Work with project department to monitor the project progress and submit variation claims for client's requirements outside the original scope.
Participate in the process of pre-qualifying vendors and subcontractors and updating approved vendor database.

Requirements:


Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 5 years experience in estimating fabrication projects for Oil & Gas industry clients like FPSO process modules, Boiler modules, Vessels and other structures.
Experience in preparing bid documents and participating in commercial and technical negotiations with clients.
Strong technical background required to study and analyse the drawings and Specifications as part of bid preparation process
Sound knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project
Solid exposure to Singapore business environment especially knowledge of vendors, Subcontractors for Oil & Gas industry Fabrication projects
