Ad Description: Assistant IT Manager (Aljunied)

Responsibilities:

Assist the IT manager to identify and exploit suitable technologies and conceptualise, develop and drive infocomm projects to enhance the organization’s IT infrastructure and architecture.
Support the IT manager to develop IT policies and procedures and facilitate change management processes to obtain the organization’s buy-in.
Project manage vendors and infocomm contracts by ensuring contractual obligations are met and projects are successfully delivered by vendors.
Value-add to users by providing advice on best practices in exploiting appropriate technology, reviewing and improving their work processes, facilitating and supporting users’ change management process and influencing the alignment of their requirements with the organization’s agenda.




Requirements:

Degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering or Information Technology.
5 – 7 years of relevant IT experience in IT consulting / project management, of which at least the last 3 years must be in a supervisory role.
Strong business process orientation and have project managed the successful delivery at least 2 application systems from planning to deployment. Each of the application systems must be at least S$500,000 and above.
Experience in implementing ERP, Portal, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and/or School Management System, ISO and/or ITIL will be an added advantage.
Excellent communication (both oral and written) as well as strong project, vendor and contract management skills.
Pro-active, dynamic, dedicated and responsible self-starter with strong customer orientation.
Confident and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multi tasking capabilities
Additional Information:
Location: Aljunied
Working Hours: 8.30am - 5.30pm (Monday to Friday)
Salary: SGD$3500 - SGD$4000
