Ad Description: Toolmaker / Senior Tool Maker (Metal Stamping) - 2 positions
(Singapore - Jurong West)



Responsibilities:

- Assemble and troubleshoot new tooling

- Attend to production tooling issues and aim to resolve issues in an efficient manner

- Meet the output performance set for individual tooling under the Tool Performance Measurement criteria

- Recommend and improve tooling performance quality

- Any other tasks as assigned by Supervisors/Tooling Engineers


Requirements:

NITEC/Higher NITEC in Toolmaking/Precision Engineering/Tool Fabrication

At least 4 years of relevant work experience in a metal-stamping company

Experience in deep drawn, progressive tools, compound tools or high speed tooling
Able to work with all material types such as SS, CRS, EG, Spring steel, Alu, Copper & Brass
Experience in handling different range of presses, up to 200 ton

Good analytical and troubleshooting skills

Good communication skills and able to work in teams

Fast worker with sense of urgency.

Rotating shift work required (1st & 2nd shift)
