Ad Description: Accountant (Contract)

With worldwide operations in northern Europe, Africa, South-East Asia and North America, our client is an US2.9billion company in the offshore drilling industry. Due to continued growth, they now have a need for a contract Accountant to join their team in Singapore.

You will report to the Finance Manager and will be responsible for the full range of financial accounting activities which includes financial and budget reporting, payroll, closing of books and consolidation. In addition, you will also be responsible for the monitoring of CPF payments, GST submissions and liaisons with auditor and bankers as well as tax agents for the resolution of tax issues.

You should possess a degree in Accountancy with at least 4 years of financial accounting experience. Candidates who are familiar with SUN accounting system are preferred. A CPA qualification will be advantageous. Ideally, you should be hands on with the ability to work well under pressure along with tight deadlines.
