Ad Description: Group Financial Controller Post Date: 20 Mar 09

Reporting to the Group Senior Vice President (GSVP), Finance, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely consolidation of financial results for monthly reporting to the Board and quarterly and annual reporting to meet SGX requirements. You will also be responsible for coordinating with the Group’s auditors and the financial analysis/review of companies’ within the Group.

As a key member in the finance team, you are required to evaluate and provide advice on the accounting implications of projects and major transactions based on the latest Singapore accounting standards and make GAAP adjustments to the financial reports of overseas subsidiaries.

Working closely with the GSVP, Finance, you will also be responsible for implementing systems and procedures to ensure good financial controls and comply with regulatory and accounting standards.

You will be responsible for a small team of consolidation accountants

To fit the role, you should possess a degree in Accountancy/CPA with at least 8-10 years’ experience in public accounting & corporate finance within a listed corporation.

You must be well-versed in Singapore accounting standards and SGX listing requirements. Familiarity with Cognos consolidation software is also preferred.

You must possess excellent communication skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment, besides being meticulous and possessing strong analytical skills, you should also be a good team player.
