Job Descriptions:
Perform medical duties such as answering phones, greet patients, update patient medical records, and fill out insurance forms.
Handle correspondence, schedule appointments, taking medical history, explaining treatment procedures to patient. Prepare patients for examinations and minor surgery, assist physician during examination, preparing laboratory specimens. Sterilize medical instruments, telephone prescription to Pharmacy, preformed x-rays, removed splits & cast. Apply / Remove bandages, surgical scrub tech., set-up surgical table, and insurance verifications and authorizations.

Skills:
Sterilization using Autoclave. Weekly and monthly maintenance of Autoclave. Able to perform clinical responsibilities confidently such as triaging patients, EKG’s, phlebotomy, immunizations, taking X-rays, medication administering, patient call backs, calling in prescriptions, assisting doctor’s with sterile procedures.
