Schedule patients for Cyberknife procedures, EMG consults, Post-op and follow-up visit appointments.
Contact various insurance companies to obtain Authorization and Pre-certification for diagnostic test and Physical therapy appointments.
Confirm patients appointments, made sure patients had a hard copy of their referral, copy of insurance cards, any reports that were pertinent to the patients appointment were filed away in the correct section of the patients chart.
Monitor records request as they came into the office, fax and mail patients notes, x-rays etc. to Attorney’s offices, insurance carriers.
Handle a multi-line telephone, retrieved messages, and paged physicians. Manage medical records, entered daily reports, test results, demographics and insurance updates.
