The Job:

Reporting to the Technical Manager, he/she will be responsible for the design of electrical switchgears
He/She will provide technical engineering assistance to production with respect to manufacturing process and bills of materials including completion of assembly drawings, detail drawings, instruction sheets, testing and product labeling
He/She will also ensure that all new and existing classification bodies/rules are updated accordingly


The Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years of related experience will be considered for senior position
Experience in ship design and power management systems will be an advantage
Willing to travel overseas for technical discussions
A mature self-starter, able to work independently, proactive and have good communication and interpersonal skills
Conversant with AutoCad 2000 and PLC programming software
