Responsibilities:

Participate in entire software development life cycle on in-house MS Windows enterprise database application. This involves working with various groups within and outside Nordic IT at different geographical time zones on the following:

Developing new applications using MS C# .NET & MS SQL Server
Porting and migrating existing applications to new versions
Coordinating with other developers on integrating with other applications
Defining appropriate testing strategies and executing it
Handling software releases, installations and upgrade processes
Diagnosing issues and performing bug fixes/ software maintenance or configuration
Responsible for system and technical issues from customers
Requirements & Qualifications:

At least 3-4 years industry experience in software development & maintenance
Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in:
Programming & debugging in MS Visual Studio with C# on .NET Framework (e.g. ADO.NET); AND
Performance tuning and troubleshooting SQL & database issues on MS SQL Server
· Knowledge of Crystal Reports and/or Borland Delphi is a plus

· Key role in building large MS Windows enterprise database application software & integration

· Diploma/ Degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent
